Valeria Belanich

Valeria Belanich, of Dix Hills, NY, passed away on May 15, 2026. She was born on September 27, 1937, in La Spezia, Italy to her parents Ida and Umberto. Valeria was known for the love she had for her family, her perseverence through hardship, her love of music, and her sharp sense of humor.

Valeria is predeceased by her husband Marco (2016) and daughter Cynthia (1974). She is survived by her loving children, Robert, Michael (Helena) and Alexandra; grandchildren Joshua, Julia, Lydia, Natasha, Francesca and Tatiana; and great-grandchildren, Dorothea, Cosette and Matthew.

A visitation to honor Valeria will be held on Sunday, May 17, 2026, from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM at Mangano Family Funeral Home, located at 1701 Deer Park Ave, Deer Park, NY 11729. Friends and family are welcome to gather and share memories during this time. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Sunday, May 17, 2026 at 3:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, contributions can be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.

Her burial will take place the following day, Monday, May 18, 2026, beginning at 11:00 AM at Saint Charles Cemetery at 2015 Wellwood Ave, East Farmingdale, NY 11735. 

Valeria will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her children will remember and honor her every second of every day for the rest of their lives.
