Walter A. Marchesi

Walter A. Marchesi, a loving father, and grandfather passed away peacefully on May 10, 2023, in Florida. Walter was born on September 29, 1930 in Long Branch, New Jersey. He served proudly in the Army and went on to becoming a science teacher at Babylon Jr./Sr. High School.

Walter was predeceased by his loving wife, Joan. He was a devoted father to his three daughters, Joan Casamento (Pete), Maryanne Kovar (Kevin) and Sue Marchesi Baron (Bob). He enjoyed spending time with his four grandchildren, Lauren Kovar, Allison Kovar, Joni Casamento, and Cole Marchesi Baron.

Walter was a true family man who enjoyed spending time with his family. He made a point to have, "Sunday Dinners," with the entire family at his house.

Despite the loss of our dear Walter, we take comfort in knowing that his legacy will live on through his surviving family and friends and the countless memories they hold dear.

A viewing has been scheduled in his honor at Deer Park- Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Pk Ave in Deer Park NY on May 15th, 2023 at 2:00 pm to 4:30 pm. and 7:00pm to 9:30pm.  The event will be a beautiful tribute to the life of such an honorable man who touched so many lives with kindness and grace.

Rest in peace Walter A. Marchesi. Your unwavering devotion to your country and family will never be forgotten.
