William T. DaCosta

William T. DaCosta, (Bill) a cherished husband, father, and friend, passed away on March 13, 2024 in Treasure Island, Florida on his 86th birthday.  He was born in the Bronx, New York to Carrie & Carl DaCosta.

Bill will be remembered for his kindness, wisdom and unwavering love for his family.  He is survived by his loving wife, Loretta DaCosta and his devoted children, JoAnn and her husband, Bill; Debbie and her husband, Jerry and Bill and his wife, Gina.   Bill was a loving grandfather to his eleven grandchildren and loving great-grandfather to his ten great-grandchildren.  Bill is also survived by his two sisters, Dorothy Perry and Mary Rice.

Services to honor and celebrate Bill’s life will be held at Mangano Family Funeral Home in Deer Park, New York.  Visitation will take place on March 25, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM.  A Mass will be held on March 26, 2024 at Saints Cyril & Methodius RC Church starting at 10:15 AM. Following the mass, burial will take place at Calverton National Cemetery.

Bill will be deeply missed by all who had the pleasure of knowing him.  May his soul rest in eternal peace.
