William lived a long and deeply meaningful life marked by devotion to family, faith, service, and a warm, unmistakable sense of humor. He earned his bachelor's degree and went on to build a life defined by hard work, generosity, and commitment to the people and causes he loved. A Korean War veteran, he carried a deep love for his country throughout his life.
William will be remembered as a jokester and a true chop buster, someone who had a nickname for everyone and a way of making people feel at ease. He had the rare gift of bringing laughter into everyday moments, and to so many, he was simply everyone's grandpa. He loved baseball and was a devoted fan of the Brooklyn Dodgers and the Mets. He was also deeply involved in Little League, giving his time and energy to a part of community life that meant a great deal to him. His involvement in the Knights of Columbus reflected the same spirit of service and fellowship that guided him throughout the years.
