William had a remarkable career, having owned his own business, Crazy Billy's Fine Wine and Spirits. His passion for fine wines and spirits was evident in every aspect of his work, and he took great pride in providing his customers with quality products and exceptional service. His entrepreneurial spirit and commitment to excellence left a lasting impression on those who knew him and worked alongside him.

He received his bachelor's degree, a testament to his dedication to education and self-improvement, which he valued greatly throughout his life.

William is survived by his loving wife, Patricia, and his two children, Keith and Keri. He cherished his family deeply and was known for his unwavering love and support for them.

A visitation in honor of William Edward Peterson will be held at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue, Deer Park, NY 11729, on December 30, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM.
