Born on November 28, 1980, in West Islip, New York, Jose spent his life enriching the lives of those around him with his caring spirit and heartfelt dedication to his family.
A dedicated professional at G.S.N. Trucking, Jose balanced the demands of his career with an unwavering commitment to his loved ones. He was a man who not only worked hard but also lived fully, cherishing every moment spent with his wife Kimberly and their two sons, Sebastian and Serj. To Jose, family was everything, and his greatest joy came from nurturing and supporting those closest to him. Jose is mourned deeply by his loving sister, Giselle, as well as his devoted parents, Jose and Juana. His family and friends will forever remember his warm smile, generous nature, and the quiet strength that embodied his very being.
A visitation to honor Jose will take place on Sunday, April 26, 2026, at the Deer Park - Mangano Family Funeral Home located at 1701 Deer Park Avenue in Deer Park, NY. The visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 4:30 PM and again from 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM. A Mass celebrating his life will be held the following day, Monday, April 27, 2026, beginning at 11:15 AM at Saints Cyril & Methodius R.C. Church, 125 Half Hollow Road, Deer Park, NY.
Jose R. Viera, Jr.'s life was a testament to the power of love and devotion. Though he has departed from this world, his spirit endures in the hearts of Kimberly, Sebastian, Sean, Giselle, Jose, and Juana—as well as all who had the privilege to know him. He will be remembered as a kind, caring soul who lived for his family and whose legacy of love will forever light the way for those he cherished most.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to Saint Jude Children's Research Hospital.
